This policy explains what information NBI Clearance Online (onlinenbiclearance.com, “we”) collects when you use this website and how we handle it. We follow the principles of the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
We never ask for your NBI account password, one-time PIN (OTP), payment card details, NBI ID or government ID numbers. If someone claiming to be us asks for these, it is not us.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. We use this only to read and reply to your message. It is sent to us by email and is not used for marketing.
Information collected automatically
- Server and security logs. Our web host and our security and performance provider (Cloudflare) process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site running, secure and protected from abuse.
- Cookies. Cloudflare and our host’s security system may set strictly necessary cookies to tell real visitors apart from automated bots. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
How we use information
- To reply to messages and correction requests
- To keep the website secure, available and fast
- To understand and fix technical problems
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and then deleted, usually within 12 months. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting and security providers.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or object to its processing. To make a request, use our contact page. You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.
Children
This website is intended for adults and older teenagers preparing government requirements. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version.
